Reflecting on Christmas Cheer: more of DSS's Social Initiatives

As the 2023 festive season approached, DSS took heartwarming actions as part of our commitment to social responsibility under our 'Together for Good' program. These initiatives, highlighted in our Christmas card, reflected our dedication to making a positive impact within our communities. More specifically:

1. Supporting the ‘White Butterflies Foundation’: We donated essential equipment to the ‘White Butterflies Foundation’ in Volos, enhancing therapy rooms for children and adults with sensory processing disorders. Our contribution aimed to provide vital support to those in need, fostering a nurturing environment for their development and well-being.
2. Enhancing Education at Primary School of Peplos: we contributed to the establishment of a new School Library at the Primary School of Peplos in Evros. Through the purchase of equipment and furniture, we helped empower young learners with access to educational resources, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
3. Assisting the George Michalinos Foundation: We extended our support to the George Michalinos Foundation in Chios, aiding in covering the operating costs of the Nursing Home. By alleviating financial burdens, we ensured the provision of quality care and support to elderly residents, enriching their lives with dignity and compassion.

We recognized the challenges faced by various groups, compounded by natural disasters that impacted our nation profoundly. As individuals, we united in offering our assistance wherever possible, extending a helping hand to those in need during those trying times.
